Personal Development

It takes absolute faith in God to be truly brave and bold in this world.

Absolute assurance in God is real confidence, while a lack of faith in Him means a lack of power, leaving you exposed to danger, and making you feel insecure, helpless, weak, even unsure of yourself, and afraid to make the next move.

A man’s belief in God as his supernatural protector serves as a buffer from that man’s fear of all things in nature and in life.

Your belief in a heavenly inheritance through Jesus Christ makes you stronger and bolder to strive and go through life passing the “narrow way” without a fear of Satan, demons, enemies or even death.

Fear is as old as man himself.

Of all the diseases known to man in biblical days, leprosy was most dreaded because of its incurable and contagious character, and more so because of its horrible effect upon its victims, it filled the bravest of men with fear.

Fear is a painful response to physical and emotional danger, a response to acute stress, anger, angst, anxiety, fright, horror, joy, panic, and sadness.

There are so many situations and circumstances that we face or confronted with in life which makes us become fearfully cowered. Some of our fears are real, concrete, objective, and are thus Constructive fears.

Others are subjective, unreal, imaginary, and made-up, built up through our motions or emotions, or calculated by way of our momentary feelings and submissions, and are thus Imagined fears.

Because you think you might not know enough and could make mistakes, people sometimes become so paralyzed with the fear of making a wrong decision that they panic and lose sight of starting what they need to accomplish. Being hindered by fear, they end up doing nothing.

Feelings of inadequacy create the fear that leads to failure.

Self-confidence could only boost your ego, lift up the id, and massage your self-dependability. However, when we suffer feelings of inadequacy or failure, where can we put our confidence?

Self-confidence can wax and wane as we wade through life. No matter how lowly we may be, as depraved sinful men and women, the Lord is ever faithful and willing to deliver us out of every fear if we could call upon Him in faith at every time of time of distress.

How sad the religions of the world focus on giving forced and coerced reverence and worship to fearful gods, mindless deities, and devilish demons to explain creation and human existence.

Fear upon fear will always end up in fear. This is the reason the world is in fears most of the time. It is impossible to get peace in the world in any life or culture without the power and name of Jesus Christ, no matter how we try.

Life is war!

Living is a great battle if you want to be someone of note.

Life is full of conflicts that must be won, if one is to live well here, and gain the glorious eternal heritage.

Despite the daunting challenges and recurring difficulties in life, the future yields, more so always, to the brave, to the bold, and to all people of righteous faith who must contend for the Truth once delivered to the saints.

The future yields to the brave and bold man, woman, boy or girl:

  1. Who refuses to settle for business as usual!
  2. Who has consecrated himself to run to the battle of The Lord!
  3. Who has put on the whole armor of Christ to confront evil in its many forms, and refute all the works of the devil in its various permutations!
  4. Who has resolutely committed himself, through prayer and entire sanctification, to the Way of The Cross!
  5. Who has the singular focus to make Heaven when this life finally ends!

The future yields to the brave and bold Christian:

  1. To receive genuine salvation, holy sanctification, and enduement of Holy Ghost power, not for show-off but to enlist as soldiers for Christ,
  2. To so live, preach, and capture prisoners from Satan and his evil enclave into the Kingdom of God,
  3. To earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints, without giving room to any form of heresy and false doctrine.
  4. To boldly live for Christ, and only for Christ, solely for Truth, in this evil world, never mind the persecution, affliction, tests and trials, and all sorts of antagonism from Satan and the world.
  5. To vehemently fight in truth and spirit to fulfill the Great Commission, win the world for Jesus Christ the King, and receive the Savior’s “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

The best days of your life still lies ahead, but you must need hold fast to fulfill the dream and gain the glory.

Satan will not just get away from detracting, deceiving, assailing, and beguiling you from attaining the great future of Christ’s calling and commission, but you must hold fast your godly vision to attain the holy mission.

Let him that thinks he stands high take heed and be brave unto the Lord in the day of temptation and in times of peace, because the enemy is prowling here and there like a roaring lion seeking for who to devour.

The key to gaining self-control is yielding control of the self to the control of the Holy Spirit.

When you yield your entire self in spirit, body and soul to the guide and direction of the Holy Ghost, your life is so transformed and wholly redeemed that the great future and its glorious heritage is yielded unto you!

How You Can Become Brave, Bold and Valiant

The best days of your life lies ahead.

It is up to you to desire it, to want it, to root for it, to anticipate it, and to work hard for it, with resolute determination and strong faith in God, who has promised it, who also will do it.

God is ever the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

God has a Grand Plan for all His created beings, especially you and I, the crowning glory of all His works.

No matter what you have ever attained in life, you have only scratched an infinitesimal portion of the great and wonderful things the Lord has created you to achieve.

Your best days still lie ahead.

Since death is certain, you need to live well, making the right choices.

Since decease is inevitable, you need to be brave, living in sound health and wisdom, to receive the glorious future and eternal inheritance.

Take it or leave it, you are quite responsible for the way things turn out for you in life.

You are responsible for your own destiny.

Destiny results from “intention” rather than the false claim that our fate is predetermined either by our genes, by our environment, or by some form of divine foreclosure.

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars. But in ourselves, that we are underlings.”

“Men can be masters of their fate. It is not destiny’s fault, but our own faults, that we’re slaves.”

God has revealed and prepared all good things for mankind, but the choice is personally his own to appropriate the provisions and endowments of God unto profit or loss.

Thy people also shall be all righteous:

They shall inherit the land for ever,

The branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation:

I the LORD will hasten it in his time.” (Isa 60:21,22).

Your destiny is the spiritual will within you which drives you to do and accomplish what seems impossible.

The greatest thing that you can do is the power to choose. Your liberty to exercise and make a choice in life is perhaps the greatest thing that you can do.

Your destiny is absolutely determined by your correct or incorrect use of the power of choice, and one of the greatest things you can do is to make proper decisions.

Ultimately, you are responsible for your own destiny.

As rational human beings, we are mostly bothered on how we resolve to improve ourselves, how to better our situations materially, physically, and financially.

Our major concerns in life are usually centered on how to transform from moments and times of peril and difficulties to times of peace and tranquility.

We often strive to change our trying times and unfavorable  circumstances in order to come out shining bright, radiant, or emerge a conqueror and a champion.

The greatest thing that you could learn and teach in the whole wide world is how to make good decisions, how to make good judgment, especially, how to make the ultimate decision in life, deciding on Jesus Christ.

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.” (Isa 51:2).

Come to think of it, can God testify of you as He did for Abraham?

Does God know you as intimately as He spoke of Abraham and Sarah?

Can you confirm or testify that God has called you as He called Abraham, blessed you as He did for Abraham, and increased you?

I know you will castigate the questions above as religion, but they all have nothing to do with religion, but the true essence of life and destiny.

As long as you know how to make proper decisions your portions in life will be just fine because you will possess the wisdom and understanding to make the right decisions.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;

but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;” (Rom 4:20).

There is a very special link or relationship between every human being and God, his Creator.

There is a very special purpose for the creation of each one of us, and that purpose is known by God, and often revealed unto us by God Himself.

To experience that special link with God and discover that special purpose of God for you require that you oil or fine-tune your relationship with God through His very clear revelations.

Out of a very large number of all the people in Ur of Chaldees in Mesopotamia, Abraham received the promise of God through the righteousness of faith.

He discovered the call of God, saw the purpose of God for his life, and did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith to embrace the plan of God for him, glorifying God for the wonderful revelations.

Because he was brave through faith, a great future yielded to Abraham to become the Father of faith.

It is such unyielding resolve and faith in God that nurtures us with the hope of an unfailing breakthrough in our darkest moments in life.

It is such bravery through faith in God that enables us to dream of better days as promised by God, and not of ourselves, and encourages us to cast our lot by faith in that faithful God.

It is such boldness in His assurances that makes us lays our fulfillment upon God as the only place where we are destined to find real meaning for living.

In autosuggestion, you are taught to carefully and regularly deposit positive thoughts in your subconscious mind so that the subconscious mind records those positive thoughts and suggestions, and invokes the aid of infinite intelligence to turn these suggestions into action.

However, since you must make wise decisions to be right and correct, the decisions that you make at the critical points of life, at the turning points of your very existence are very important.

Therefore, you must make decisions that impact wisely on your destiny.

This is where we have limitations for autosuggestion!

One single decision is enough to determine a person’s destiny, either to success or failure, either to righteousness or to sinfulness, either to make heaven or end up in hell fire.

Rather than carnally drop positive thoughts on the subconscious mind, we follow the path of faith as did Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Peter, Paul and a host of the Lord’s faithful saints.

As children of God, we need that direction. And that direction comes from heaven.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation,

and as in he day of temptation in the wilderness:” (Psa 95:7,8).

Autosuggestion, the witch of Endor, horoscopy, necromancy, soothsaying, and all other forms of magic and fortune-telling may be the lot and dessert of unbelievers to determine their destiny.

It is not the way of God nor is it recommended for His children.

Jesus Christ is the great and good Shepherd of Christians and all bona-fide born-again believers, and as such, He remains our guide when we are lost and in disarray, within the thorny maze and rubbles of this world.

Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd who gives the best direction and guides that comes from Heaven to all sheep within His pasture.

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,

This is the way, walk ye in it,

When ye turn to the right hand,

And when ye turn to the left.” (Isa 30:21).

We need that voice.

We need that direction.

And that direction comes from Heaven.

  1. Jacob did not eventually win Esau over at the very terrible moment of his life because he was smart or because he depended on carnal wisdom, but because he learn to take his problem to a God who was bigger than Esau, and greater than Jacob’s terrifying situation.
  1. Joseph did not march from the prison to become a Governor at the palace of Pharaoh as a result of his scheming and tactical planning, but rather because Joseph chose to wait in faith on God.
  2. Joseph refused to partake in illicit love affair according to the inordinate system of the world. Joseph, in turning down the amorous enticement of his master’s wife declared,  “how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” “and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Heb 6:11- 12).

Rather than indulge in the sinful pleasure of a twinkle moment, Joseph took the wise but difficult decision to hinge on good things promised all faithful believers by God.

The blessings promised by God to all who depend upon Him is made sure because those assurances are made by the omnipotent , omnipresent, omniscient God and eternal Father, Son, and Holy Spirit  of god Himself who cannot lie.

  1. You need to resolutely intend to go somewhere and make a difference, the type that Joseph, Caleb, Samuel, David, Daniel, Peter, and Paul made.
  2. You need to set forth at the dawn of each new day to advance, to make progress and get nearer to your goal in such a way as Joshua, Samuel, David, Solomon, set out early in life.
  3. Plan well in advance for every twist and turn in life affairs and matters, and renew your commitment and resolve not to waive from your set dream, always casting your faith in God as David did to regain Ziklag.
  4. Pray that God help you to live right, and to apply your plan unto godly success, as did Joshua after the death of Moses, as did King Solomon at the beginning of his reign.
  5. Forge ahead in life with absolute trust in God, unflinching faith in His promises, while you hold forth doggedly to His Word, His Way, and His Will without doubt in accordance to the Patriarchs and Prophets of God and the early Apostles and Disciples.

The Lord God who blessed Job’s later life even more than his earlier bitter life, and changed Jabez’s sorrowful circumstance to a happy ending, surely has great blessings in stock for you.

Your best days are still ahead.

Today may be fine or bitter, but your best days are still ahead.

Your best days are not behind you, they are ahead of you.

You might have hit some rough patches lately, but don’t lose hope, never give up because there is hope in Jesus.

When you hold fast in regular prayerfulness and watchfulness, when you hold firm the promises of God and the immutable assurances of His Word, the glorious future will eventually yield to you.

Arise, that we may go up against them:

for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good:

and are ye still?

be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.”

There is a land that is fairer than day, there is a special place in history created by God just for you, just for you.

We all might envision it and know it, but you are the only one who can claim it and have it. Never give up!

Hold fast the dream so well, so high, and with good focus, so that Satan, will not drive you away from the King’s Highway, and so that you will not miss the great future and the glorious crown.

Never give up!

God is Love!

“Beloved, let us love one another:

For love is of God;

And every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” (1Jn 4:7,8).

Love is not a mere warm feeling as many people in the world often term it to be.

Love is an attitude or disposition that reveals itself in our attitude, action and disposition towards other people, such as an intimate partner, parents or siblings, friends, colleagues, acquaintances or outright strangers.

God is the Source of life, and He is also the Basis of human love, therefore it is impossible to truly love or be in true and genuine loving relationship without first loving God and having true relationship with Him.

This is a very serious departure from the way the world and people of the world prefers to love. By human nature, we love someone because they fulfil a required condition or meet a need or standard in our life.

By the nature of man, our intense affection for another person is based on the fulfilment of some conditions by the other party.

This implies that humans in general love conditionally. Someone has to meet or fulfil an expected circumstance before we can love them.

I love you because you love me and understand me, because you support me and assist me, because you trust me and refuse to doubt me. I love you because you make me feel good whenever we are together.

I may also love you just for who you are, what you mean to me, and because of a lot of reasons that makes me accept and appreciate you.

The Bible speaks very much about God and His great love for mankind, despite our great shortcomings. As the Creator and Maker of man and his universe or environment, God is also the true embodiment of life and love.

As the standard of truth and the full measure of love, God’s love for man is without condition.

He loves man to give him every good thing essential for his joy and happiness in the Garden of Eden. It was out of love that he created man with a freedom of choice, rather than give him an existence like a zombie’s.

When man misused his freedom of choice, and fell into sin, God drove sinful and fallen Adam and Eve from Paradise.

Nevertheless, out of immeasurable love, God also created alternative plan to save the world and redeem humanity from iniquity, back into His marvellous love and light.

God loved man so much as to sacrifice His only begotten Son for us. Our God is LOVE in person, and not just TRUTH and WORD personified.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (Joh 3:16).

Jesus Christ is also our perfect example of what it means to love.

According to Christ, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (Joh 13:34,35).

Love ideally is a strong feeling of affection with emotion and concern, between husband and wife, between parents and their offspring, between friends and close acquaintances, and between faithful believers and God.

All the people who taste of the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross do not remain the same any more, but are regenerated and reformed to become sons and daughters of God.

Such people are called out of sinful life into holiness. They stopped living the life of sinfulness and iniquity and begin to live a new life of righteousness by the grace of God.

This spiritual transformation through the death and resurrection of Christ makes the erstwhile sinner, who now has a current experience of salvation, become a genuine Christian, member of the body of Christ popularly called the church.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2Co 5:17).

A wonderful feature and characteristic of genuine Christians and all true believers in Christ is the ability to have the love-nature of God in them. As transformed children of God, genuine Christians are endowed to manifest practical love amongst the brethren and towards unbelievers.

Genuine Christians have the capacity to love the very way The Lord command us to love. Such kind love goes beyond all the boundaries of race, status, nationality, age, culture and tribe.  “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” (Joh 15:9,12).

Such love will not only bring unbelievers to Christ, but it will also keep believers strong and united in this hostile world.

While this kind of love and loving remains a mystery to the sinful world and material men and women, it is, nevertheless, the expected standard of true love.

God’s love is unconditional.

God’s love is sacrificial.

God’s love is eternal

God’s love is enduring.

Jesus Christ stirred up the hearts of believers to practically get into the life of loving one another selflessly, unconditionally, and wholeheartedly. It is practiced and lived out of goodwill, confidence, and mutual trust and understanding.

On the other hand, worldly love is selfish, suspicious, envious, and demonstrated in malice and much untruth.

Valentine Day’s celebrations are lustful, sensual, and sentimental, with reveling and party spirits.

Valentine Day celebration of love reminds me of a Reader’s Digest story: – “When I was growing up, there was a saucepan in our house with a lid that did not fit rightly. When steam began to rise, the lid would shake, rattle, and make a terrible noise.

Of course, the lid was doing no good. In fact, it was allowing the steam to escape, but it made quite a racket and impressed you as being very busy and very important.”

Valentine Day’s celebration of love makes so much noise every February 14, but has little or no bearing to true love, genuine affection, or godly marital relationship.

Attempts to place sexual lust and sinful orgies on the pedestal of love can never meet the principles for which God created man and woman.

The ways of God are quite different from the pattern of men, but there are great riches and abundant blessing in the quest of any man who strive in truth and in faith to seek God, who come in faith to understand God, and search for His judgment.

The best of human creativity on earth is still very far from the perfect works and awesome creativity with which God has endowed every man and woman. Therefore, it is difficult to experience true happiness with a sinful lifestyle, a selfish heart, and a perverted and unsanctified mind.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! “ (Rom 11:33).

No matter how he tries, the unsaved and unsanctified soul can never find lasting happiness and enduring joy in sheer humanity, carnality, worldly wisdom, godless learning and teaching, in her writing and reading, in her arts, culture, and general humanities, in her music, movies and the media, and in many other material as well as mundane affairs of man.

Man’s sensational life is as most comprehensive, and as highly complicated. Those who know most in this imperfect state, feel their own weakness most. This convinces us of the vanity of the world, and that it cannot make us happy.

The vileness of sin, and its certain tendency to make us miserable, are the tools of Satan to ensnare and buffet us upon the earth, and rob us of any lasting joy and happiness. The heart of man is in recurring demand for insatiable wants and desires, and no human creativity can satisfy the yearnings of the soul.

True happiness and lasting joy could only be found in God when your heart is led unto Christ Jesus through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

Christianity is all about coming to Christ and becoming a new creature by His transforming power.
This is a realistic and yet mysterious wonderful experience by which a hitherto sinful man or woman, youth or reasoning child, is brought into meaningful and real fellowship with God.

Jesus Christ declares,
“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

Religious people attend masses and services in the churches of the world.
Only genuine Christians would be Raptured with Christ at the end.

Circumcision of the heart, body, soul, and spirit is the solemn pledge and covenant of the Christian to his God.

He consecrates his life to serve God at all cost throughout his life until he dies for Him at his duty post.

“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” (Lev 18:22).

Should your homosexual orientation be the Isaac you could not give up for God?

To run riot of your sexual orientation and sin against God might get the approval of the government and blessings of your community, but definitely, voice populi voice Dei does not change the laws and standards of God for His faithful children.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; But he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (Mat 7:21)

Though Christianity has been misconstrued and misunderstood by the world and people who would like to satisfy their selfish goals, it is serious contradiction to the Word of God as well as the life and teachings of Jesus for any homosexual or anyone in the LGBT lifestyle to claim to be a Christian.

At in-gathering offerings and celebrations, we give thanks to God for bountiful harvests and joyfully celebrate as family and congregation the successful completion of another season.

Though their first winter in the New World was hard, tough and difficult, the Pilgrims and many early settlers took the spring to learn from Native American Indians how to cultivate their new lands and adapt to their new home.

The peace pact between the settlers and the natives gave a peaceful atmosphere that colored their first in-gathering celebrations in the fall of 1621, and thus the first American Thanksgiving.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Php 4:6,7)

In 1881, the great historian the Rev. Samuel Johnson, Pastor of Oyo, described great-grandfather, Pa Jonathan Ojelabi, as “the foremost Christian gentleman” in his town. Grandfather Emmanuel left his wealth and immense connections, prepared a trust and care for his family, and went on Christian evangelistic campaigns. He died in the course of these missionary works, and was buried within the courtyards of one of the churches he helped to set up. His offspring thrived and stay in Christianity till this day.

Dad and Mum were Roman Catholics, and so were we, the children. It pays to serve Jesus!

I give thanks to God today for a good life, a happy family, a kind, understanding, and loving wife and godly children.

It has been a wonderful experience in life for salvation, justification, and the great hope of eternal redemption. The greatest experience of any man is his transformation from a Gentile into one of the partakers of the blessings and covenants of God through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”( Eph 2:12,13).  It is great to understand that God loves me so dearly and gives me the wonderful gift of Jesus Christ.

Life has provided me with caring tutors, wonderful schools and a very rich education, to touch and gladden other lives and people. This is not just a coincidence but also the wonderful benevolence of God to His undeserving child. God I thank you. Jesus I praise you.

God cares, and performs His wonders in mysterious ways.

Heikki Koivu was once the MD of Perusythyma, the Finnish Civil Engineering Construction Company, where I started my working career.

Armed Robbers attacked one of the project sites of the organization where I was the Accounting Officer. The Police arrested me and locked me up as their prime suspect. Heikki Koivu trusted me, flew down to site, and went through a rough ride with the police to get me released.

However, the police vehemently refused but Mr. Koivu spoke glowingly of me and stuck out his neck to sign all necessary papers that led to my release from detention.

Three months afterwards the robbers were caught in their attempt to cash some Thomas Cooks traveller’s checks stolen from us. Heikki Koivu was proved right and I was vindicated. Had Mr. Koivu not taken that risk my life would have gone in a different direction, probably pitched with gangsters and criminals.

“An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.” “The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.” (Pro 17:11, Psa9:15).

Dr. Donald Eickner, in his inaugural address to college freshmen, taught me how to value time, and make best use of every passing moment. “Write down your achievements in the past five years, and then explain what you seriously want to achieve in the next five years. Work hard and pray hard about it!”, the college President taught new college students.

Though I was born into a family of strong dedicated Christians and strong believers, Professor Johnny Manassian opened my understanding of the Good News that no one get saved or converted into Christianity by virtue of religious background or lineage, but through personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Dr. Manassian led me to Christ!

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (Joh 8:32

Not much of a swimmer, I was caught off-guard once at an ocean brook and within a quiet sea beach. Drowning and almost lost at sea, I owe my life to the grace of God and prompt intervention of friends who rushed and swam deep to rescue me and revived my life. For what else are friends and friendships, than ‘that a man lay down his life for his friends’? There is no greater friend like Jesus Christ.

As a Graduate Assistant at the Lebanese American University to Professor Robert Polhill, the famous American Professor of Accounting and kidnapped in Beirut in January 1987, I became a prime subject for kidnap because of my closeness to the American Professor.  Polhill was very fond of me as a lecturer, boss, friend and counselor.  Well, I graduated from school in fine colors, and Professor Polhill came out of captivity in April 1990 after 39 months in captivity. All things are possible with God.

Talking of friends, I surely have them plenty, and across the nations. Friendship is good when your friends are true. Korion came from Armenia, Barn is from Lebanon, Newborn is an American, Phillips is from Trinidad and Tobago, Murray is a Canadian, Tabingo is from the Philippines, Balcha Gizaw came from Ethiopia, Takeo is Japanese, Burgess is English, Emilio is Argentine, Gramkow is German, Luigi is Italian, Zekry is from Egypt, Sonig is from Syria, and so on.

John called to see me, immediately he flew in from London, and would be very glad to meet my family; our last meeting was in 1987.

Of my friends, I can truly say, “That man had nothing and gave me half of it, and we both had abundance”.

You may not be rich or wealthy, but if Jesus makes a great difference in your life, then you must be living a rich, peaceful, virtuous and abundant life. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

God’s only begotten Son came to change your gloom to brightness. He has come on wounded feet to roll out your ailment and smooth your scattered sickbed.

Christ enters your life with spike-pierced hands to soothe your pain with His balm and His precious blood shed on the cross at Calvary.

Jesus Christ washes away your grief and discomfort with His undefiled living waters.

At in-gathering offerings and celebrations, we give thanks to God for bountiful harvests and joyfully celebrate as family and congregation the successful completion of another season.

Whatever need or challenge you may have in life, you only need to “taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Oh give thanks to The Lord; Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the people!
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His steadfast love endures forever!
(1 Chr 16:8,34).
